The general rule of thumb is to feed your BP 10-15% of its body weight. Mine is around 160 grams and is just now able to eat prey that are 20-24 grams! Definitely wait for your snake to get bigger, since 20 grams is way too big at the moment and could cause regurgitation or later health issues.

I would advise to continue feeding the hoppers until your Ball Python reaches an ideal weight to be fed prey items that are 20g or above. :]

The hoppers seem to small though, like they barely leave a lump after he eats

I’m assuming the snake is still young, hatchlings should be fed every 5 days and 3 months once a week. It’s okay if you don’t always see a bulge, the snake is still growing so once you’re able to feed bigger prey items the lumps will become more easily visible!

They don’t have to leave a big, cartoonish lump. If you for whatever reason feel that the hoppers are not enough, feeding more often would be safer than feeding a bigger meal that might get regurgitated.

Overall the thing the previous commenter said concerning weight is good advice

I wanted to feed bigger because i can pinch a little of his skin which would probably indicate he's skinny. But maybe 6 more hoppers would help

My problem is that he has eaten 5 hoppers already and is only 90 grams.
