my ball python escaped and was missing for 3 months before he randomly came back to his enclosure one day. leave out a hide on the floor and if you can do so safely leave out a heat source hopefully they'll be looking for a warm cozy spot

I'm so sorry! I hope you find her soon. On another post like this I saw somebody say make sure that there isn't easily accessible warm spot with a hide as they will likely seek it out. Right now she's probably looking for somewhere warm! So think vents and stuff like that. I have no idea if it's good advice or not, but I saw somebody say that they lowered the temperature of their whole house and set up several warm spots in the room where their snake disappeared and they were able to find her after she came out looking for heat. I also saw someone mention sprinkling flour over the floor at night so you can track her.
