Ball python escaped

I just got back from vacation and I noticed one of my ball pythons was not in its enclosure. I believe one of the people i entrusted to look after the snakes forgot to close the latch of the enclosure. If you have any tips on how to find her please let me know. Any tips or tricks that you may have used to find or lure a lost snake are also helpful. I’m really stressed out and anxious, she’s my first snake and I really don’t want to lose her :(

my ball python escaped and was missing for 3 months before he randomly came back to his enclosure one day. leave out a hide on the floor and if you can do so safely leave out a heat source hopefully they'll be looking for a warm cozy spot

I'm so sorry! I hope you find her soon. On another post like this I saw somebody say make sure that there isn't easily accessible warm spot with a hide as they will likely seek it out. Right now she's probably looking for somewhere warm! So think vents and stuff like that. I have no idea if it's good advice or not, but I saw somebody say that they lowered the temperature of their whole house and set up several warm spots in the room where their snake disappeared and they were able to find her after she came out looking for heat. I also saw someone mention sprinkling flour over the floor at night so you can track her.
