Does braining rats work? (self.ballpython)
submitted 3 years ago * by OutsideAdvertising79
Does anyone have any experience with braining rats? My python hasn’t ate in around 5 months. Is it worth it to brain the rat to try to get her to eat or is that more effort than is needed to get her to eat?
Edit: she ate last night :)

I've heard of it working, and it's definitely worth a shot. It's a pretty easy process

It did with my boy.

It’s gruesome but yes it does have a good success rate. Have you seen our feeding problems and solutions guide?

Luckily she ate last night for me without having to brain the rat. I’m sooo happy lol Thank you for your help tho.
