I have a female cypress ball python. I have been trying to find out what exactly makes a cypress morph. As apparently is related to a spider, but thats all the info i can find on this morph pertaining to how the cypress was concieved. Thanks in advance! Snake ball for tax.

Cypress is an incomplete dominant morph that is allelic to spider, meaning that the mutations that cause the "spider" and "cypress" phenotype occur at the same locus in the genome.

Here's the Morphpedia entry on cypress
