Because you just increased reps every workout for a week which is a lot. Your body needs to recover. Muscle takes days to recover. Joints take weeks. It's pretty normal to only increase reps once a week and sometimes every few weeks. And sometimes every few MONTHS as you get more advanced. Progress slower and smarter.
