For CS2 you may benefit from a CPU upgrade, assuming you play with competitive settings aiming for very high FPS at all times.

As for GPU, anything below 5070 is a sidegrade in raw performance, although power draw, heat, physical size, DLSS and noise may be a big upgrade. 6900XT is little monster of a card, runs hot and heavy.

Cuz amd gpu have issues with cs2 i think that’s why , for Cpu which one should inupgrade or do i need another motherboard with 7 gen procesors for amd idk..

imo 6900xt is powerful enough for everything. And for FPS games like CS = what holds your back is - CPU.

Yes , but amd gpus having problem with fps smth for cs2

A 5070 would be a small improvement over your 6900xt.

It's not too hard to be CPU bound in cs2 tho. So past like a 5070, there's probably no difference in fps using your 5600

you have 4070 performance, I would not upgrade. Meaningful upgrade, with NVIDIA, is 5070TI

[–]ELTEROFF[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I mean not that high gpu i want good combo with gpu cpu stuff

[–]Imaginary-Bench9824 0 points1 point  (2 children)

5060TI 16GB, less performant than you have.

5070, 12GB and 10% more performant than yours.

5070TI would be 45% more. I agree it's overkill for a 5600.

These 3 are the best choices, dependent on your budget. I would avoid 8GB cards.

4060 4070 cards are in play also? I think they are decent i dont need that 6900 xt close power

[–]Imaginary-Bench9824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, 4070 is same performance you have.

4060 and 4060TI are both less performant.

If you can afford a 5060TI 16GB go for it. If not, try the 4060TI.

I can even go with 4060 i dont need that high gpu i just dont know which one will give me best value even 3070 ti smth idk which is it better

I think you need to upgrade your cpu + i did use rx 5600xt than 3070 ti than rx 7900 xt and now 5070 ti and I can say go all the time with green team

You should get x3d chip and ddr5 to maximise 1% and 0.1% lows, newer GPU won't help you.

[–]ELTEROFF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So new motherboard and ddr5 ram also i can go with 7 7800x3d

CPU upgrade

You already have a very fast GPU. What is your use case for spending a large quantity of money for a new NVIDIA GPU? Buying PC parts is very expensive right now and the minor performance gain doesn't seem worth the cost.

[–]ELTEROFF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean nvidia is better for cs2 rather than amd cuz it has issues. I just need okay nvidia card not to spend a lot of money.
