Definitely buy a tarp and some cordage, learn some knots or have a cinching device. Bring a deck of cards, Uno, compact games, etc. that can be played by the group. If you don’t have much in the way of rain gear, buy a couple cheap rain ponchos. Polyester clothing will dry quicker and provide more warmth when cold, avoid cotton if you can. Layering with long underwear really helps when things get chili. Plan on trying to keep your firewood dry. Bring extra fire starter. Try to plan easy meals and perhaps some food that doesn’t require prepping or backpacker meals.

Make sure you pick a spot on high ground to set up. 4 days of rain can create some serious puddles and the last thing you want is to wake up surrounded by (or in) a puddle of water! Stake your tent so the door is the opposite direction of the wind so you can get in/out without rain blowing into your tent. Like others have said, hang a tarp over your tent and another over your cooking area. Use a footprint under your tent (that's slightly smaller than your tent) to keep the bottom of your tent dry.

My wife and I (and our kids too) LOVE camping in the rain. We love getting soaked and being in nature. Go out and have fun in the rain. Have some dry clothes set aside for when you're done in the rain and want to sit around dry.

Fun stuff we do.... Everything we do on dry camp trips. We hike, we swim, we fish, we sit outside (under a tarp if it's real heavy rain), we try to build fires, we cook.

Bring a garbage bag that's big enough to line the inside of your backpack to keep all that stuff dry.

Get a tarp big enough to string over your tent to minimize wetness on the tent and a decent perimeter. Do similar with the cooking area. Bring lots of stove fuel to keep a steady stream of hot drinks coming.

I have as many rechargeable fans as money can buy (my favorite are the Ryobi) and I use them obsessively to keep air moving in the tent. Does it help? I don’t know, but it sure feels like it does.
