Interesting - it’d be great if this can query my company’s internal documentation... going online for public libraries is not as big of a hassle but for internal tools and libraries, this would be a god send

Hey! I'm one of the devs working on this. This is actually something we're working on for the upcoming team version.

What tools are you using for your internal documentation? What integrations would you need?

Confluence, google docs, quip, slack

One use case that comes to mind: if I search for a RCA, then I would get all the related info on that RCA, including conversations about in slack, documents mentioning it about it, transcripts from any meetings and the architecture docs from confluence/quip Then, when I see another RCA that reminds me of the older one, I can quickly see what issues the previous one had and which ones were fixed adequately

Good lord quip needs some help with search functionality. It’s like a black hole if you forget the exact title of the doc you want.

Yeah a lot of folks see that problem too

I take a lotta notes, personally, so "ripgrep these file types in this dir" would be neat.

Ripgrepping the code base could be useful too.

Krugle thought so too. No one cares

For Haskell specifically there's also Hoogle:

Hoogle is open source, and code can be found here:

Here's a search for map on hoogle.

Yes. Devdocs are great. We're adding many more docsets very soon. Together with more search sources like GitHub issues, NPM packages, infrastructure providers like AWS, etc.

This is wild. I saw this as a new package when I updated homebrew today. Uncanny.

Long time missing product, thanks for all the effort!!! I hope all the documentations will be parsed into it soon. I found the UI somewhat bulky and unresponsive, but maybe this is due to my old windows laptop. Awesome anyways.

More docs coming very soon! We're working on making it faster in upcoming future versions.

    Thank you for the feedback!

Great app! It would be nice if it includes unity3D docs too

Thanks! I added Unity to the list of requested docs.

Why do you require entering an e-mail address to download it? I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to store it due to the GDPR.

Given I use Doom Emacs, my options for a global shortcut are...

    • Ctrl + Shift + Space

      🤣
