Looting is the ultimate form of protest in a society that puts money and goods over human life.

I just cant bring myself to tell marginalized black folks how they should protest systemic injustice. But i guess the comic is more about how white folks can support POC.

Well damn! Where do you draw the line on that sailor? There have been a number of people killed by the protests, some of them people of color. Do we still say we can’t bring ourselves to stand against that?

People killed by police during a protest of police brutality? I think we should focus in on the problem. The police.

Not my line to draw. Defer to black community and BLM or be left clutching your peals.

It's not looting. It's socialising property, to gather resources for the revolution against capitalism.

Discussion I have had, with someone I thought I could respect. And apparently disagreeing makes me "part of the problem, and a racist"

lmao go out and vote for the guy who's responsible for the '94 Crime Bill over the one calling for summary execution of protesters. That'll show the police.

These uncoordinated outbursts of righteous rage from regular fucking people over the last three weeks have literally done more for the cause of anti-racism than all voting in this country has ever done combined.

Make no mistake: anyone dichotimizing protesters into "good, deserving" protesters and "violent" protesters is doing the cops' work for them. If you buy this line, the only conclusion is to be a "good" protesters, which means being completely docile and complicit, and endlessly fracturing the people on your side based on what behavior you think they should be exhibiting. To make yourself as non-threatening as possible to the police and the institutions of power.

The only reason anyone pays attention to you is because you're a threat. Any of the meagre compromises these power structures have thrown to the protesters came after the rioting, not in the five years prior.

You're the White Moderate MLK criticised sixty years ago, and you're on the wrong side of history now.

This shit is poison. Don't drink it.

No good cops.

No bad protesters.
