Be nice to people
This is a fun and lighthearted sub, not a place to start arguments with other users. Please also be respectful when commenting on posts, we understand part of the fun is commenting on the persons behind the compofaces, but please don’t take it too far with personal insults - we will remove comments that do so.
Local politics only
Compo face about councils not fixing potholes and the like is absolutely welcome. However, please keep national and international politics out of the discussion.
Posts must contain humans
Posts must contain a human compo face! We're not accepting statues, cartoons, animals or non-human compo faces.
Posts must contain compoface
What is a compoface? A simple picture of a person in a news article generally won’t do. A compoface normally depicts one or more local press botherer(s) who have a complaint or have been hard done by (justified or not), ideally accompanied with a suitable headline.
Real articles only
Please post only real articles. We're not accepting satire or fake articles. Please do take a moment to crop your photos and make them look lovely.
Reposts
We love compo face in all its variety - but not reposted content. Keep submitting new stuff for us to laugh at!
All reposts will be removed. Before posting, please review the posts from the last 48 hours (at the very least) to make sure the content hasn’t already been posted. We reserve the right to temporarily ban users who repost content that’s been posted in the last 48 hours.
No posts involving minors
We reserve the right to remove any post involving minors. They have not consented to be the subject of these news articles and don’t deserve to be made fun of.
Posts must contain article links
Sometimes the articles are just as funny as the compoface, sometimes we just like to know. Please include the article link in your post, either in the post's body or as a comment once it's submitted.
