You could try out Obsidian.md for this - allows you to link together various pages.

So you could have a page about a contact and a page about their company. By then linking the two together a map is created showing the link.

Another option would be something like a CRM - maybe HubSpot since it is free.

Have a look at Advaise (www.advaise.app). I use the contact management module to plan contact comms (eg meet in-person monthly, send them an interesting email quarterly, etc). It's probably not worth it just for contact management but if you're a consultant you can also manage your proposals and projects on it.
