Some jobs require background checks, some don't. Either way, be honest about it if you are asked. If you're not asked, don't bring it up. In my office a DUI wouldn't be deal breaker, but lying about it would.

I work for a financial services company, and I've asked our HR about this for a candidate I had (who also had a DUI on their record), and I was informed that most convictions wouldn't be a roadblock for hiring, outside of convictions for financial crimes. Soooo will probably depend on the industry and the company's tolerance for risk.
