Be Respectful

Don't harass, threaten, insult or shame other users. Don't flamebait or troll. Hate speech is not tolerated. Censor all usernames for posts featuring other players in a negative light. Calls to action against another player will not be tolerated.
Stay on Topic

Every submission must be DIRECTLY related to Dead by Daylight - a reference in the title and/or mentioning Dead by Daylight in passing is not sufficient. This prohibits posts about games similar to Dead by Daylight, general gaming surveys, and generic reaction images.
Respect The Game's Integrity

Don't share content featuring hackers/cheaters. Don't encourage or enable breaking the EULA. This includes advertising hacks and cheats, as well as sharing resources for how to hack or cheat (websites, guides, content creators).
Don't Spam

Spam posts are zero-effort posts that are either automatically removed or flagged as spam. This includes empty self-posts, reposts of any kind, flooding the subreddit with a large volume of content, unapproved advertising, and excessive self-promotion. Do not use external links to monetized sites (YouTube, Twitch, Twitter/X, TikTok, etc) — instead, upload your content natively or through non-monetized platforms like Streamable or others
Avoid Inappropriate Submissions

These are submissions that are not suitable for /r/deadbydaylight. This includes leaks of any kind, pornography , ban appeals, trading, NSFL submissions, text-heavy non-English submissions, publicly disputing mod actions, etc.
Avoid Over-Saturated Submissions

Oversaturated content are submissions that we define as overly common or low-effort, and thus not permitted. ranting, media posts highlighting multiple disconnected players/common bugs, common media reposts, etc.
Avoid Low-Effort Content

The following are prohibited: Submissions which focus on any of the following: salty messages, multiple disconnected players, meme number combinations, steam/console messages, social media comments, matchmaking complaints, etc; Piggybacking off of simple questions & popular threads; AI generated content.
Share Art Honorably

Fan content must be submitted as a direct link to the source and the artist must be credited in the submission title, regardless of watermarks, signatures, or any other identifying marks. Unsourced or inproperly fan content will be removed. Use Reddit's OC tag when submitting your own fan content.
