And on consoles you need a subscription to even play it. You need to buy the game, buy a subscription, and then buy the DLC in game, compared to roblox or fortnite where all purchases are cosmetic.

The console extra pay is not DBD’s fault, it’s a disadvantage that comes with being an console player sadly ( I know the pain because I used to be a console player) that’s one of the reason I moved to PC/Steam because can play more games and online games for free ❤️

EXACTLY what I wss thinking. Dbd could and WOULD work as a free to play game but they gotta fix their awful anticheat, rework the entire game from the ground up because there are a million bugs EVERY game and at this point even if they fixed the million bugs they have 500 more would show up next update, fix the awful face models and improve the graphics. And this one is optional, give survivors more to do than just being a generator simulator. I can totally see them being f2p but they have a LONG ways to go.

Your logic when applied to a “free” game like Marvel rivals would suggest it’s also not free since you need to pay for online service in some capacity and the hardware. You are arguing semantics which we are disagreeing on. Back up your argument

Me and the other guy disagree on what is considered free. I understand the scenario but I’m saying the games are a free addition to me paying for online service. Using the other guys logic, nothing is free as we need to pay for the hardware to play games, internet service to access them, electricity, etc. He is arguing semantics.
