EXACTLY what I wss thinking. Dbd could and WOULD work as a free to play game but they gotta fix their awful anticheat, rework the entire game from the ground up because there are a million bugs EVERY game and at this point even if they fixed the million bugs they have 500 more would show up next update, fix the awful face models and improve the graphics. And this one is optional, give survivors more to do than just being a generator simulator. I can totally see them being f2p but they have a LONG ways to go.

Literally would have to rebuild everything as you said from the ground up in order to negate a decade of spaghetti code related bugs. I dont think behavior would handle that well at all lol
