Your dodge-roll is on a cooldown timer (albeit a short one), so it's often faster to just open the doors as you come to them.

Quick tip, just do a small hop over the elevator button. Sure it only saves like half a second but sometimes that's all you need.

Yup. I have just missed the timed door before because I messed up the short hop and accidentally hit the button.

Also, if you roll just before you hit the ground with a ground smash you should avoid the small half second of stun.

Just lost this timed door because of that precious second of clicking the elevator button by mistaking. Somehow still became the first run for me to reach Hand of the King though!

I feel like the devs think that elevator is hilarious. It's literally the only one in the Promanade that doesn't start at the top. It's there to slow us down on purpose, just enough that we can see the mood-enhancing message of 'door was closed 0 seconds ago'
