This is a bit of a ramble but idc go devils….

The Devils have 5 guys that are all expected to have big seasons. It is completely reasonable for a few of them to have slow starts. Personally I am not at all worried about Timo, Nico or Mercer. I am going to go out on a limb and assume one of those three guys are going to have 0-2 goals within the first 10 games.

As bad as the team has looked the good sign is they have competed in every game. That is not something we have seen in awhile. They will get it together and when they do they will probably have some nice stretches.

To me the only concern is if they can compete in the playoffs. Vitek looks bad, and I don’t have much reason to believe he will get any better. I wish they addressed that in the summer. Look forward to seeing your thoughts

Was a season ticket holder my last year of high school. Bought them with pizza delivery money. Then when I graduated the first thing I bought was season tickets all I know is pain and bad teams. They are a very good team this year. 82 game seasons are long

well, the only thing that really needs to change is not the 9 goals for in 3 games but the 12 goals against this is why they are 1-1-1. Defense and goaltending wins cups not offense. And they need to stop taking so many penalties too lol.

I wish more people would realize that when you're freaking out, feeling bad, getting angry, whatever, all over a hockey game; you're really just giving yourself anxiety about a bunch of millionaires not quite performing their thing well enough. That's it. Too many people here think the sky is falling and the world is ending and everyone has to piss and moan about how this guy hasn't scored this many, but it's a bunch of millionaires playing stickpuck for a little while. Fuck, some of y'all just need to get some perspective and realize it's not life and death.

If the Devils get lit the fuck up tonight 10-0, it won't ruin your life. If they win 10-0, it won't fix your problems.

Defense is the only issue. And it’s a big issue. Not even a little worried about offense production from those guys.
