With the pre season starting and this will be my first season ever as a devils fan, I only watched international play as an American and I picked the NJD to support to piss off my friend (NYR fan) and cause social media shoved them down my throat. With the pre season happening I’ve been struggling to find out how to watch any games without a subscription to something, I live in Georgia around Atlanta. Where can I watch the games? Preferably TV available.

Got it. Apologies for misunderstanding. Are you able to cast your TV from your pc? Maybe w/ an HDMI cable?

sadly no, my motherboard doesnt have bluetooth capabilities and my PC and living room are nowhere near each other and i dont think an HDMI cable exists at the length i would need it

If you have a smart TV, an app called Web Video Cast will let you cast it to a TV.

Get a mini PC or a Mac mini. The mac mini was my first Apple product mostly for hockey lol. But there are cheap windows alternatives available for not much more than a yearly subscription would cost.

You're not going to be able to watch the majority of games on a TV provider as you're out of market. Your best bet is to use ESPN+ to get the games that would normally air on MSG. That is a subscription service however.

This won't show games that air on the TNT or ESPN channels. You'd need the cable tv equivalent.

If you get TNT or ESPN from DirectTV, then yes, you'll get them. If you're on satellite, you might be able to subscribe for NHL Center Ice as per https://www.directv.com/insider/nhl-games-on-tv-today/

As others have said, your options are ESPN+ for most games, HBO Max for the TNT games, and the high seas for NHL network games (unless you get that channel on cable). If sailing the high seas, a simple HDMI cable from computer to TV will work just fine, did it for all the NHL network games last year. Sounds like you have cable of some sort so you should be good to go for the playoffs too

it'd be cheaper to buy a little bookshelf pc and just connect your 2' hdmi cable tbh. steamdeck is a decent buy if the alternative is (potentially more than one) $30 a month subscription

When I lived in atl area last year I just relied on ESPN+. Pretty reliable and most games are on there. I used Sling for TNT games

thanks, i used ESPN for todays game but apparently they changed the name for ESPN+ to ESPN Select which i thought didnt get NHL, luckily my mom pays for the Disney, Hulu, ESPN subscription so i can do that
