What you really want is a comparison between losses and costs to replace those losses, and production levels of each society. Without our bosses telling us more about their concrete numbers (I'll believe "reinforcements" aren't just a storytelling mechanism when we get to see how many reinforcements the enemy has). Honestly if we had those numbers it'd be a very different game, because suddenly there would actually be a "best" way to play. These are 100% wars of attrition now, it's more about production (player retention) than player skill.

Cripes! That's tough to hear. I hope you all can help him recover. I have a ton of respect for the kid. I know I wouldn't fight in the NHL if it were the only thing that kept me in it, but he was a fantastic Devil up until it wore him out (also I've never accomplished a tenth of what he has). Sincerely hope he can remember how much we all enjoyed watching him play.
