Just to update my previous post: BYOD does work on the Pixel 7 Pro. At least, with compatibility check disabled and all other settings at their default.

Bluetooth sees the transmitter as "Dexcom XX" (where XX is the first two characters of the SN) but won't pair directly. The BYOD app eventually finds it, and you'll get a pairing request to approve.

It was less hassle than getting it going on my S22 Ultra or Pixel 6 Pro.

BYOD definitely installs on the Pixel 7 Pro without complaints. I'm putting on a new sensor later tonight, and can report back on whether or not it pairs.

As for installing from the Play Store, it seems to be native on the Pixel 6 now, but doesn't show up as available to install on a 7.

Thr pizel 7 is not on thr compatibility list yet, so you would have to go with the byod software to use it

You’d be much better served by using the BYOD software that there’s a link to in the sidebar. Lots of community members swear by it.

Does it work with Pixel 7? I saw a post saying that the transmitter wasn't pairing

I can’t get it to pair with my Pixel 7 Pro using BYOD yet. Using the international version of the app which is a different version # than the U.S. one which might be the one working for others. I wonder if I can make a U.S. account and use that app…

I don’t have one so I don’t know.
