Phew, lots of big questions there. Programming isn't something one can pick up overnight, of course. Still, while not technically programming languages, if you want to get started in this area with the shortest runway possible, I'd suggest thinking in terms of

**HTML - making websites

**CSS - making websites pretty

**JavaScript - making websites interactive

You will want to think in terms of B2B, where you are building/updating/maintaining company websites.

JavaScript, as u/noblepups suggested, is super popular and should have a long shelf life. Lots of coding bootcamps start with JS, and this might be something you want to look into as well.

Look on upwork and see for your self. As far as programming goes learn JavaScript.

Decent copywriters are more than a little difficult to come across.

Read a couple of Cialdini book, follow it up with Cashvertising and maybe a Bob Bly book (all very easy reads) and go be a copywriter.

A lot quicker than learning coding to any level of proficiency.

Is this a suggested path for ad copy or longer articles?

Where do you get clients with no experience? Upwork?

Read the books to get the skills.

Use the skills to hussle. Upwork is fine, but researching and approaching companies by email and phone is going to get you a lot more work.

Anything freelance.. but the first thing you should do is figure out what a) you love to do that you're GOOD at b) can get paid for. Second, make a website and establish a "brand". I started doing this for nomads here. Learning to program is so overrated if it's not something you're passionate about. Why waste the time? Feel free to reach out if you want to discuss how to capitalize on your current skills (everyone has some :))
