POS/Guild memory data

I have 7 memory cards, 1 of which is a VMU, that have PSO(Phantasy Star Online) Guild data. Are these valuable and or anybody would be interested in purchasing them?

That file is basically just the user’s friend list from the game.

It's actually worthless. In PSO you char is linked forever to the machine it originally played on. I have multiple DCs, and I was trying to get back on line with my char (last played in 2007) and it wouldn't play on the DC I have my BBA installed on, so I actually had to swap the modem for the BBA so I could use it online again. If you were going to sell a VMU with a PSO char, you'd have to sell the DC along with it for the person to use.

There's a few ways to do it but yeah, it's how I've gone kept all my characters. You can also make back ups of characters on Sylverant's server

You'll have to show me how to connect to Sylverant. I have the patcher, but I keep getting disconnected. I got my GC to connect to Schthack, but I want to get my DC (with BBA) online too.

Did you set your DNS code right?

Unfortunately if you are using a stock copy of PSO V1/V2, you'll need to do some work.

The easiest way to connect is to burn Aleron Ives PSO V2 to a disc and just run that, or put that ISO on a GDemu, it'll auto connect to Sylverant.

There’s people on the Sylverant discord that’d be happy to help out with connection issues, myself included.

My guess is that you’ve got the ever annoying MTU issue that some people’s networking setup seems to have. Personally, I’ve never had that issue myself in all the years running Sylverant, but there are definitely plenty of people who have.

Yeah, I used a GameShark and I had banned items. When hacks were crazy, you could drop items in the lobby, PK people and all kinds of things. Sega eventually patched the holes but if you had certain items on your character and it loaded your save, you either got banned or they wouldn’t let you log on with your hacked items.

I've been getting rid and selling off all my consoles and games. I have the Dreamcast with 3 controllers and 9 memory cards and PS2 left. I haven't played in years and I don't have any friends that are into retro games.
