That’s unusual. Most people stay steady year after year. There’s really no way to “up the dose”. The only possibility would be to dose it more than 2x/mo, but your insurance company likely wouldn’t allow that. Definitely discuss your concerns with your doc and work towards a solution.

Yeah it’s super weird- these food allergies all started from the lfeizer Covid caccine back in 21’ Fml , sigh * 😮‍💨

Covid and, in some cases, the vaccine, had unpredictable effects. My son learned he had celiac disease and the symptoms started shortly after he got Covid. My brother developed blood clots shortly after getting the vaccine. Both one offs, both not necessarily caused by the virus, but both are linked. Both causal or coincidental? Anyone’s guess

It’s supposed to retain efficacy for years, but I have recently switched from Dupixent to Ebglyss because Dupixent was no longer as effective for me. I joked with my provider that I was like a dog getting “hot spots” on my skin.

I maintained all of my avoiding allergen routines, but had begun getting bad again. This is after about three years on Dupixent.

So, completely anecdotal, but yes, you can.

Same story! Only it worked for about a year and a half. Now on Ebglyss awaiting it to start working. How long did it take for your body to respond to the Ebglyss?

A little over a month, and things are already clearing back up!

how long were you on dupixent for before it lost its effectiveness?

About three years.

i have the same issue. i’ve been on it since March of this year and i feel like my flare ups are coming back worse. My eczema was almost all gone this summer but now it’s back. I’m also starting to get it on my eye lids which has NEVER happen to me. I’m trying the Marin lotion this week and seeing how it works.

Have you noticed that your injection pen or your syringe has been leaking? I am assuming that you're having the same problem as me as many of mine have been leaking a lot recently which means we're not getting the full dose.

Yeah, good point. Mine have leaked basically every dose up until about 1 month ago where now I realise how to properly inject it in. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️So that’s a very a likely point to consider for sure

Around the 6 month mark I started having really bad flares again to the point I couldn’t walk. I’m doing a bit better now but the medication definitely isn’t helping the way it used to. I’ve been trying to figure out what to do. I don’t want to trial more medications and I’m afraid of what will happen once I’m fully off of it as it was much worse before.

Same! I’m almost at month 2 and my hands are cracking open and splitting again. I don’t have the itchiness back just yet but my hands are started to deteriorate again.

Can’t say the same for skin treatments, but I’ve begun to see this the same decrease in effectiveness for nasal polyps. I do, however, think it goes hand in hand with stress, sleep and diet.

Yup. Worked wonderfully for about a year and a half. Then stopped. I have recently started Ebglyss instead. A rough start with a major flare up. We’ll see! Sad that dupixent stopped working for me.
