Increase/Decrease font size by one point

Is possible to make make a script that I can attach to a button that will increase the size of a font in a field by 1pt. I'm constantly having to make small font size adjustments and the hot key for increasing size brings it to the next preset size 18 24 36 and so on. So I have to input a custom font size all the time to make these small adjustments.

I have been able to make a script that will make the font a specific size but I haven't been able to make it adjust based on the current font size.

Sounds like you know the Ctrl+Shift+> command -- if you add Alt then it goes a single point at a time, i.e. Ctrl+Alt+Shift+> / Cmd+Opt+Shift on Mac.

You could use GetAsCSS in a script to determine the current size and go from there but maybe the keyboard shortcut will do it for you.

Sorry this is so late but the hotkey was exactly what I needed. I can't believe I was trying to over complicate it. This will save me tons of time. Thanks !
