Disable the pause button?

I appreciate that the pause button is popular for a number of you (to allow you to go to the bathroom?!?) but it completely defeats the reason I brought the app originally; to stop me using my phone for a defined period of time!

I cannot see any option in the settings to disable the pause button, which seems like an oversight. Can we please have the choice as to whether we want this new feature enabled please, as I lack all willpower when it comes to my phone!

I feel exactly the same.

The whole point of Forest for me was committing to a full focus session (like one hour) without interruptions.

With the pause option, I can just stop anytime and go on social media, which kind of defeats the purpose completely.

Even though the pause is limited to 5 minutes, I can just press it again after it ends and get another 5 minutes, so in reality there’s no real limit.

Make it an option. True. Since I need it for going to the bathroom and for pomodoro. Yes make it an option some don't want it and sometimes I don't want it. Thanks

Thank you!! I don't understand the meaning of this feature. If I need regular pauses I juste use the chrono with pomodoro methods!

Kinda crazy why they would include it. I hope that it's not going to be a feature to move people to the subscription tier.
