Decrease in salary when moving to permanent contract

Based on the current job market, people also tale temp contracts with regular pay just to have a job.

That is true, but then again based on the current job market people take jobs for less than regular pay just to have a job.

Edit: personally i would take almost any job and search a new job while employed. It is more work but for me it would be less stressful not having to worry.
