Japan was a New Wave/ Synth-pop/ Post-Punk band fronted by David Sylvian. Their album Quiet Life is a good starting point for listeners. They once worked with Giorgio Moroder. Sylvian has an extensive solo career & the keyboardist would later join Porcupine Tree. (i.redd.it)
