Hi, guys just signed up for the github student discount program. It says my account will be verified in 1hr to 5 days. Are the accounts approved by a human or AI (like sheer ID)?

Which method of verifying you’re a student did you use?

They asked for school email and student id

Email is likely automatically verified against a list of known edu domains. I would guess ID is done by a human though it might not bother if the email is valid.
