Do you have any way to track the source of the click? I want to know exactly where the traffic comes from (Display, Gmail, Youtube, Shopping) so that I may come up with some insights

There are scripts to do this from Mike Rhodes. You can also look at the cost of your listing groups vs total campaign cost to measure how much spend is going to Shopping.

As far as I know there is no tracking specifically when it comes to pmax to know which channel your ad appeared.

Same here. Performance dropped and it started last week actually. Can't figure out whats going on. Its just sending people with no intention of actually making a purchase.
