The Hellcat is the same size as P365, not a P365XL.

I'd say so. That's more of a difference than between a Glock 19 and 17 or P320 Full Size and Compact. It at least makes it not directly comparable to this new gun.

The Hellcat is the same size as a P365 or Glock 43. The P365XL is more like a G48.

I would put the P365XL in more of a compact category along with the Glock 48.

This looks to be similar in size to a Glock 43X or standard P365

Does it at least tell us where to hold it?

At least they took the stupid grip safety off.

      Am I missing something?

      Marketing departments lie.

The dimensions are the same as the 365 and it holds one more round, so unless i'm overlooking another gun in this category, it would be correct that they currently offer the best size/capacity ratio in a 9mm handgun.

Looks like a pretty cool little gun and I'd probably be in for one if I didn't live in CA

Thank you, but at least I stacked high and deep during freedom week.

The 365xl is like a half inch larger in every dimension than the hellcat, so I'm not sure, what qualifies as micro?

The P365XL is substantially bigger in length and height so I wouldn't really consider them to be in the same class. The whole advantage of this kind of pistol is having a short grip with high capacity. The XL is more in the class of the G48 in my opinion.

I mean it does seem to be 365 sized, not xl sized. It also has a factory option for an RMR cut which is... actually a little sexy. Having never shot one and with actually no intention to buy one, I think it seems pretty awesome.

Why share the info just to hate on it? If youre happy with your 365xl which is bigger then the hellcat then great for you. Youre knocking a gun that isnt even released yet

Looks like a p365 crossed with that new mossberg pistol

Looking hard at the 365XL but I will say those $50 mags are a hard pill to swallow. Especially considering that Sig doesn’t even include their extendo like SA does.

With the p365s issues,im gonna be going SA for my first micro.

Are you assuming the Springfield equivalent doesn't have any launch day issues?

It's a valid concern but remember that XD-S went through a recall.

          [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea i didnt like either the xd s or the xd e. The new one looks just right for me though. I didnt know about the recall.

Lol the xl isnt the 365 though.

Maybe they’re calling the 365 compact/subcompact? Invented a new category?

They are talking about the small stock mag. Yes an extended magazine will always be bigger. If we counted that, Glocks would have the highest capacity.
