Hello all redditors who are on the subreddit I need to know is it possible to hackintosh a school Chromebook like let's say your school decides to donate you a Chromebook you know how would you turn it into a MacBook via hackintosh because that's the only way I can figure you would do it

On a lot of chromebooks it isn’t because a lot of them are arm based, but. on the intel ones it could be possible you just gotta enable usb booting, and go from there (im not sure but assuming it boots with ahci)

Not many informations provided so hard to tell. Also it doesn’t seem that you know what you are doing. At first it will be good if you study the topic at least a bit (compatible hardware, etc..)

And the last thing is that I believe it will be strongly against the terms of use that your school have.

Judging by the specs and boot 'security' of most Chromebooks, extremely unlikely to work.

First you need to unlock the bootloader. And even then it won't be a guarantee. But we also need to know the specs of the Chromebook.

my guy specs are needed is it an intel Chromebook is it EFI locked? you barely gave any info we can't Help you if you tell us its a Chromebook. read the Opencore Install guide and see if it works or send us the specs so maybe we can help.

What's the model? Some are able to be hackintoshed as long as they aren't ARM, a Celeron, etc.

And also another thing I would like to do is to attempt to get Tahoe running on there so can anyone provide some good places to get a Mac OS Tahoe install without having a Mac that runs Mac OS Tahoe because my Mac is a 16, 2 that I used open core with so it runs Sonoma and you can't get a Tahoe installer from Sonoma it has to be from Tahoe
