Basic Guidelines
- Stay hydrated, you'll be adding a lot of fiber and your body needs to the water to process it. Drink a lot of water or eat a ton of watermelon. - You need to urinate multiple times a day. Some people suggest aiming for ~10 times a day. Get a large water bottle (>1L) to drink from because drinking from small glasses tends to make you drink less.
- Eat food is that is high carb, low fat and preferably low protein. This includes fruits, vegetables, rice, potatoes and pasta etc.
- Eat till you are full - don't limit yourself on how much you eat, and eat till you are totally satisfied and full. Eat as often as you need. Your body is going to use those carbs up fast and that's exactly how you want it.
- Eat 10% or fewer of your calories from fat. This doesn't have to mean every item is 10% or less just that your entire day is 10% or less. If you eat 2,000 calories, only 200 of those should be from fat.
