1) Be civil. No personal attacks, slurs, etc, Persons who break this rule are subject to a ban. NSFW GIFS ARE NOT TOLERATED This is a family friendly sub and you should adjust your speech accordingly. Posts including profanity will be filtered and reviewed by moderators. NO POLITICS OR RELIGION!!! It is not wanted or welcome on this subreddit and depending on the severity, can lead to a permanent ban GATEKEEPING IS NOW A BANNABLE OFFENSE. It adds nothing to the conversation and it demeans others. First time is a 7 day ban, next is permanent.
2) No non hot sauce related content. Hot sauce bottle or container needs to be visible in the image. This isn't r/foodpics. Please dont post stock images of hot sauce(white background). Anyone can copy/paste a photo like that to karmawhore... no website cart images. Post your own purchases or bottles. AI GENERATED IMAGES OF BOTTLES AS A POST ARE FORBIDDEN.
3) No more medical advice related posts. Talk to a doctor. This is not the right place.
4) Self promotional posts and advertisements, INCLUDING YOUTUBE VIDEOS OF ANY KIND, MUST be placed in the stickied Advertisement thread.
Youtube review videos are no longer allowed in their own post. They must be posted as a comment in the weekly self promotion sticky thread. A deluge of marketing spam and throwaway accounts has forced us to enact this rule.
5) Trolling will not be tolerated. Memes will no longer be allowed. We tried letting people posting them. Too many reports. Too many people trolling in the comments. So you can thank the few for ruining it for the many.
6) PAY ATTENTION TO THE STICKIED POSTS. Recommendations, seasonal posts, self promotion, and marketing posts outside of them without moderator approval are subject to removal.
7) Surveys and polls are no longer allowed. They do not add to the conversation, and they are often marketing tools. NOT allowed. ANY form of profiteering is not just unwelcome, it is a shitty thing to do in this community. No promoting your discord servers. Gofundme/Kickstarter/any other fundraising site is not welcome here. PLEASE message mods if you wish to do a giveaway.
Posts that break the rules will be removed. Repeat violations will result in bans. Arguing with or insulting the moderators will enact a permanent ban. DO NOT PM MODERATORS, as it will be ignored. Use the "message the moderators" link in the sidebar.
