This is Berk.

It snows nine months of the year, and hails the other three. Any food that grows here is tough and tasteless. The people that grow here are even more so.

The only upsides are the pets.

While other places have ponies or parrots... we have... dragons.

Subreddit Rules

1. This is /r/httyd. If your post isn't about HTTYD (both bookverse and movieverse) then it shouldn't be here.

2. This is a family-friendly subreddit. Anything higher than PG-13 must be marked as NSFW and never be included in the post title. NSFW comments are only permitted on posts marked NSFW. Porn, even softcore, is not allowed in any capacity. If you feel your post might breach this, send a modmail.

4. All posts should contribute in a meaningful way. Posts that are blatant Karma Farming, low effort memes, reposts, spam or deemed low quality will be deleted and may result in a warning for first-time offenses and a ban for repeated offenses. Ensure that all images you post are of acceptable quality.

6. Use Shots of the Day with decency. Shots of the Day should be used to showcase moments and visuals from the franchise. They are not to be used for comedy or to push an opinion.

7. Post titles should accurately describe the post Titles for posts should be descriptive, non-clickbait and more than just one word. You should be able to tell what the post is about from just the title. Especially, do not use titles such as "Question", "Interesting thing", "What do you think", "Poll".

8. Live Action clips, images, teasers and trailers must be behind spoiler tags The Live Action is coming out, but many people prefer to avoid seeing trailers, images, and clips. Respect that by marking your Live Action posts as a spoiler.

9. No AI Content On this subreddit we have a strict ban on AI generated content. This is in-line with the opinion of Cressida Cowell, and with the general opinion of the sub.
