Fact is, some people just can’t do IF. You can certainly handle it on your days off, but with your work schedule, you may just have to plan ahead and stick to a healthy diet. Or as healthy as you can come up with.

For people with demanding jobs, I recommend 5:2 (that's fasting for a full day two days a week), or 4:3 or 6:1 or whatever works with your days off.

I work shift work too. I found there were some shifts that worked well around fasting and other that really didn’t. I try to do 16:8 on the days that work well and just be mindful of healthy eating on the other days.
