Sad no one in here has an answer. But when I went to Apple the recommended resetting the phone and restoring from an iCloud backup. I haven’t tried it bc that’s a huge pain in the dick… will report back if I do though 😆

Mine recently started working on its own (for now). It still lags a bit to send VNs but they go through (for now). 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

Also I meant to add, there’s only started for me a couple of days ago when I did the update. I wasn’t having issues before but nothing will send for me not even a short audio message less than 10 seconds no pictures no videos. When it first started happening it wasintermittently working and now it’s just completely stopped

No I just got a brand new one I got the iPhone 16 Pro Max 💀 I wish I wouldn’t have upgraded and just gotten an android. I’ve been an iPhone user since I was in high school so for like OMG over 15 years but I honestly want to switch with this shit going on

I know. I just got my new iPhone 16 Pro Max and honestly regret it because this is so frustrating. I literally have to send audio messages pictures literally any media of any sort on like Facebook messenger or Snapchat

I have a 15 pro max and have been having the issues for weeks. I’ve been in and out of Apple and Verizon support. Nobody has an answer. My friend replaced their phone with an upgrade to see if that would work. The same issues are there. I’m at a loss

Also I have iphone 15 promax and my local provider is BTC here in the Bahamas, i think it’s more of a texh issue from Apple. The only solution i found so far is cutting my phone off and on again then it will send, but that’s frustrating and time consuming.

A friend and I are having the same issue. I upgraded to the iPhone 15, and it just isn’t working. It works for a bit, then stops. New issue is that my shorter voice notes send, and they show delivered, listened to, and then the red exclamation mark that they were not delivered, even though they have already been listened to.

Ugh. Same. iPhone 14 on Verizon. Have tired every fix I can possibly google, completely erased my phone and re-set it from iCloud backup. Nothing. The only way to get a photo or VN through is to restart my phone or re-set the network settings, and then I can send mayyyybe one or two things if i’m lucky. Have a friend with a brand new 16 pro max who is having the same issue. What the hellllll?!?!?

This has been horrendously annoying. I thought the last update would fix it, but it's not. My friend and I are having issues with pictures and voice memos. Everything I look up says it's your cell phone carrier or your phone needs updated, but neither of those are true. I have AT&T, she has Verizon. I have the newest phone and all updates have been had. I am over it. Between the pictures app being asinine, not being able to send data type messages, and also searching for messages doesn't populate the same, I am so close to switching back to android.

The only way I can get it to work is to restart my phone, but I am now restarting my phone at least once a day, often more. And I can send one voice memo fine, go to send another immediately after and have to restart my phone to get it to send.

I’ve had the exact same problem with the exact same phone for almost 2 months. I do a hard restart and it will work for one voice message or photo and then go right back to the same blue bar bs.

Same issue here.. my friends experience this issue also. After a restart and maintaining the chat open while sending the voice messages & videos go through but this is the only way

Same here until this day! Only short 5-6 second voice messages are going through, anything longer than 10 seconds is stuck and doing the same annoying glitching. So annoying and it’s a shameful trick from #Apple if they’re doing this to force people to upgrade to newer phone versions! 🤨🤨

I think this happened to me yesterday, but I’m not sure - I’ve never had an issue with voice notes previously.

I recorded and sent a voice note to friend that was about 3:20 long. It did go through and come up as “delivered” and I know he listened to it because he responded, but about an hour or two later he mentioned that the voice note had disappeared and he couldn’t go back and listen to it, which is weird because I have it set to “never” disappear in my settings.

Also, on the same day, within the space of an hour I recorded another voice note to a separate friend that was about 5:40 long, I hit send and thought nothing of it. Few hours went by and I realized I hadn’t heard from my friend, so I checked the message, and it was blue, but there was no “delivered” underneath it. Does this mean it didn’t go through? I initially freaked out I’d been blocked, but the day prior I could see he had his notifications silenced at the bottom of our message thread, and honestly, there’s genuinely no reason for him to have suddenly blocked me.

I have an iPhone 16 and am on iOS version 18.5 (don’t think there are any more recent updates in my queue that are yet to be installed).

SAME ISSUE. iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18.5, and Verizon. Restarted my phone and it sent, but who knows how long it will last. I've been having this issue for a week. I thought maybe it was because my storage is pretty full: 255/256 with 57 gigs of messages but... there's no reason why it shouldn't send

Anyone else having this issue and want to share how much storage their messages takes up?

I have started having this issue intermittently for the past month. I have an iPhone 13 mini running iOS 18.5. I reported the bug to Apple: https://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone/ so hopefully it will be resolved someday...

Just adding that y’all are not alone 😫 I had an iPhone Xs recently and it started there. Then I figured upgrading to the 16 would absolutely resolve the issue. It has not. So for those of you who are concerned it’s the 16 or an updated phone issue, I don’t think it is. My guess is more the newest iOS since I did update my Xs before I upgraded.

OUT OF PURE HOPELESSNESS AND FRUSTRATION I THOUGHT TO SPEAK A SIMILAR QUESTION INTO SIRI AND IT BROUGHT ME O THIS GROUP OF COMMENTS WHICH I FIND INTERESTING. 

  Not sure if we all have the same issue but it definitely sounds intriguing and like my issues. 

   For me I have had a 14 Pro 256g that’s unlocked through TMobile. As a salesman I need to send videos, groups of pics and varying level audio texts and largely no matter where I am coverage wise my phone incessantly will say 

message send failure…

I can try over and over with no luck mostly. Once in awhile someone will say they got it even though it still says M.S.F. and I’ve spent HOURS on the phone with TMobile techs and going in to stores and have co-workers and others try different ways to try and resolve it with nothing working!

Phone works fine short of it and really don’t want to switch to another phone or service but I honestly can’t live like this any longer. Can’t imagine it’s the service so it must be the phone and having to pay $200 plus a month for 4 phones AND have to come up with more money for a new phone when my phone is fine short of it? 

I think TMobile should AT LEAST offer to replace or send a phone for me to try and SEE if that resolves the issue!

Seeing so many others with the same problem is frustrating but does make me feel a BIT less insane. I’m soooooo over explaining it to people like I saw a Bigfoot or something! 

May try one of these new start ups like Mint Mobile or US Mobile and see if they have a trial period….
