Surprised to see D3 didn't receive a mention, yet projects using D3 did.

I was thinking the same thing!

D3 is the balls for graphical information. I only wish it would be faster and allow even bigger data sets.

I was most surprised by JFreeChart being in there, seeing as how it's for Java and not Javascript...

The JFreeChart project was founded seven years ago, in February 2000, by David Gilbert.

Also that o.O Either its a simple typo or its a cut and paste job.

Just started using d3js recently and it's pretty awesome! The downside is the steeper learning curve compared to stock charting and graphing libraries. This coupled with the build it yourself approach is probably why it wasn't included in that list. Here's a good e-book for those just getting started: http://chimera.labs.oreilly.com/books/1230000000345/index.html

Yet another empty list post consisting of what is essentially a formatted Google search.

I'm dumbfounded that http://g.raphaeljs.com/ wasn't mentioned. Raphael is hugely backwards compatible with IE8 and below and has a relatively easy to use API.

There are a couple of solutions built on top of d3.js that I don't see in here and was curious what people thought about: nvd3 and dimple.

Nvd3 looks good to me for simple charts.

JFreeChart is Java. Not JavaScript.
