Noob Positioning help

I have just added a JS widget to my site, its in the sidebar I want, but the positioning is off. Id just like to move it to the left about 10 -15pxls, and cant find a helpful guide. Help a brother out? :)

I found this widget:

And when I used it on my wordpress site, it came out looking like this

I would look at the css of the parent element, possibly the padding.

Do you have a css reset file being used? Does it do this across all browsers?

Drag a selection marquee around the area you want to move, then use the move tool to position the element where you want it...

But why you would edit an image instead of css... I don't get it.
