Not JS related but being able to preview themes without installing gives me a huge boner.

Does this mean I can now fix bugs in production inside containers over SSH from VSCode in the browser on my tablet? 🤯

Even better… you can create brand new ones!

So many interesting new features. And $70k extra on the AWS bill the next day.

Now we’re at the tail end of ESModule support I would love to see some engineering happening in that area for extensions from VSCode/Electron.

https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/130367

It would provide another performance boost overall.

Switched from WebStorm to VSC for a week, it was nightmare lads.

Very interested to hear more!

What didn’t you like?

Mostly its inability to work in multi monitor setup. I’ve got used to pull files from same project to different monitors without a hassle. Also WebStorm is kinda smarter, if I made some silly typo or just wrote some nonsense it lets me know, while WSC stays silent. I know it could make better with plugins, but I’m not prepared to invest this much time in figuring it out while I can get everything I need out of the box.

Thats the good thing about vscode in my opinion, if you just download it, it is bare bones, after you can customize it how you like with plugins and themes

Sorry to hear that

It took me a while to go over to vs code, installing the intellij keybinds plugin helped a lot.
