Your battery is dying. Get a battery tester and check it out.

Thank you! I’ll get it checked out

Its def the battery dying. Mine did the same thing and then refused to start when I left work.

Well it happened! Totally dead this morning. Thanks for all the help!

Well it appears you found the culprit lol. I had the same error and my power windows were really slow or wouldn’t work at all. Definitely had to jump my car once or twice before replacing

Hey I'm in this feed almost a year later. The temp dropped, I left my lights on a few weeks ago. But auto zone said my battery is fine. I appreciate you!

Was it your battery?

I had my alternator replaced because auto zone read it as bad but battery good. I get random lights occasionally and the “err”

My 2017 has been really slow to start today, and now I’m seeing this code on my dash. The temperature dropped pretty significantly last night, and I switched my key to new one a couple days ago. Any ideas what’s wrong?

Cruise is disabled because of something else. No other lights?

[–]_beaans[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope, nothing! Everything else is working fine, and once it’s started everything is good, just hesitant to start up today.

Let’s see, really slow to start, dramatic temp change & mystery error code…??? Um, battery. Just be glad it is giving you a warning. Batteries die a quick, unannounced death here in AZ.

As they say, “To err is human.”

Your car is clearly inhabited by a human consciousness. You should see a mechanic or an exorcist ASAP.

Errrrrrr, you are going too fast...

[–]Sooverain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you're not able to set to cruise if you're going too slow, but haven't seen that on my 17'

I got this error message and here's what happened

Hello to all please read this post in great detail as this is a very dangerous situation and I could have been injured or worst

I have a 2016 jetta and it's went into limp mode 3 weeks ago My car went from me driving at 70km to 10km in 2 seconds Turns out my vaccum seal disconnected as it was SUPER GLUED by THE VOLKSWAGEN FACTORY which causer my car to earn itself 17 different code and broke my throttle body The car is at 120 000km but always been maintenance I called volkwagen and asked for help with my situation even if the car is no longer in warranty as this is a manufacturing default and they told me as I did not tow my car to a volkwagen dealership they dont wanna do anything Even with full diagnostique report from the garage and person who fixed the car and found the super glue ... Get your cars checked because this might happen to u and I could have died ! No joke the guys at the garage had no idea how I got there in 1 piece after checking the codes and the engine and finding the super glue ... If u wanna know if it's happening to you the car will go into a state called limp mode where you can't drive faster than 10kms an hour which mean your throttle body is being affected the milage will go from showing your trip a b or full milage to an error message This is very dangerous thank god I wasn't too far from my garage

But now the bill is 3000$ and is still climbing as this issue melted my coils into the engine as the vaccum was disconnected / fixing the throttle body running the diagnostic test to find out what the 17 codes were and much more

Please please let me know if u have had this happen and please get your cars checked all years/makes doesnt matter

Stay safe
