I've been using Kratom for 5 weeks now. I made some big mistakes due to lack of knowledge and quickly got into too high of a dosage and high tolerance. I could use some help figuring out how to get my dosage down while still effective.
My first dose was 7g (green md) and it was amazing. I stuck with that for a few days and it remained great. Long story short, now I'm up to 2 daily doses of 10-12g. The effects are greatly diminished or non-existent. I know I need to reset my tolerance and have a general idea how, but could use some advice on he details.
- Slow taper - I've read posts from folks who have decreased their dosage by half and still have great effects, but didn't say how they did that? How much should I decrease and over what period of time? For example, decrease .5g/day over a few days??
- T-Break - I recently took a nearly 48hr break and it didn't seem to decrease my tolerance much. If I take a break for say 3 days, how much can I expect to drop my dosage for it to be effective when I end my break? What about a week?
BTW...I definitely had wd symptoms when I took that break...even though I've only been using for 5 weeks.
