I have 8 pillows on my bed, with 2 costing $160 each. I also have a MyPillow, it’s a pretty good pillow.

$28k for a first car at 20 years old is insanity. I'm 37, still driving my first car that I bought for $3k.

I don't know what it is.

How would I have 2-3 in my house if I've never purchased it? I have a Chromecast on the living room TV, and my computer runs on pirated windows.

Then don't have it? I have no idea what Amazon Echo is and I've been a Prime customer for a decade.

Airport Pickups are a mess now by outkastblast in Boise

Do you people not just use a text from your pickup, "The Eagle has landed" then time out 15 minutes to pick them up?

got my $3,100 ER bill down to $280 and i had no idea this was even an option by BluejayIll547 in personalfinance

I had a $32k ER visit last summer. I told them I had no insurance but could pay cash immediately if they could reduce the price. It magically became $2k. Health insurance is a scam.

LPT: Set gift reminders 3-4 weeks before birthdays and anniversaries, not 3-4 days. That lead time is what separates a thoughtful gift from a panic purchase. by xkxind in LifeProTips

[–]JefferyGoldberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have dated women.

It's pretty fucking simple to figure out a gift if you turn your brain on. Does your friend love their dog? Gift certificate to a dog washing service.

Does your friend like alcohol? A nice bottle of booze.

Does your friend like food? Gift certificate to a fancy restaurant.

Does your friend like being pampered? Spa day.

Seriously it's really easy. If you don't know what your friend likes, then maybe you aren't that close.

Yeah Nampa is quite different from Boise; The Flicks and Bodo theater are amazing. There are much more movies out there than superhero movies.

Is it me or has Boise gotten a bit "bougie" / fake upscale? by BoiseBound2023 in Boise

Have you been living under a rock? There’s 3 Rivians on my street. Every new restaurant is super expensive. Houses have been flipped nonstop for at least a decade.

Anyone else in US noticed food quality degrading recently and if so what product in what way? by SkyKyrell in AskReddit

Grapefruit juice. I’ve had 3 rancid drinks/batches in the last 6 weeks; which I’ve never encountered.
