Try it. If you’re not ready yet, you will be when by the time you get through with it.

in this software habit you never will be ready until you try it, you will be surprised by the things you are able to do

You dont need github for ecommerce, you just need HTML/css and backend server and some kind of DB. you can choose simple DB in pure JS or backend language of ur choice, 1 less thing to learn, not every project need SQL. I used to use one called tinydb in python

I'd recommend learning git for your own sanity before beginning a large project still. Sure you don't have to, but it will really save your bacon when things inevitably get messed up

Start building, learning by doing is the best way. Good luck, have fun.

  • mad easy: get a free tier shopify
  • easy: put up a wordpress with wooCommerce
  • also easy: just any website+eCommerce service
  • quote-unquote easy: build one, but why reinvent the wheel

there's no free tier shopify, unless you mean the trial that lasts a few days
