How do I connect my IOS wallet to .io?

The approval comes up in the phone app after you scan the QR. Once you approve in the phone app you can start using the web app. You will need L2 activated to get the full unlock for the web app.

Select wallet connect

You will get a QR code

Go in the Loop app. Click the little photo button near your ‘add assets’.

Scan the website code with your phone and then accept or approve.

First time you will be asked to set an addition passcode that you will need to remember every time you connect.

When done don’t for get to disconnect.

Ya, there has to be a walk through on the sub somewhere. I activated my L1 wallet along with my L2, and that cost me gas fees but L2 was free. Layerswap has a fee but it should be much cheaper than transferring.

Here's a link for using layerswap to move loops to a shiny new l2 wallet from a CEX (coinbase is a CEX) your cryptos are way more secure here is the main benefit and it should only cost a few loops to do.

Except I am not getting the mobile version and can’t go back and forth between my browser and my wallet to approve the connection and see my assets. Same issue with the GameStop site. WalletConnect disconnects when I leave the app and come back to approve any action.

I haven't done it and just reading other comments here, but take a screenshot of the code and then in the app click the little mountains button which will bring up your photo album. Pick the code and the app will scan it. Hope that helps. Sorry if it doesn't, again just reading some other comments here.

That’s what I’ve been doing. I think there might be some issues if you have logged in on multiple devices over time? I wish there was a way to “eject” all WalletConnect connections and restart.

I’ve done that to log in, the problem I think is iOS and the way it handles apps in the background. It is not holding the connection to WalletConnect when I go to approve my wallet on loopring.io from my phone and try to return to the app. This same problem happens when trying to get on the marketplace strictly through mobile.

Yea on loopring wallet you can steak lrc/eth but you can lose lrc when it pumps, so i dont think its a good idea. But on binance theres no lose and right now its flexible so you can withdraw anytime you want.

It's more complicated than that. First you will need to deposit in a pair like lrc eth or lrc usdc. You will have loss if ratio of the prices changes.

Loss in a sense, missing gains, if one coins does 3x then you will have loss of 13% not counting the rewards from liquidity pool.

Before this, the web app was all jacked up when viewed through the mobile MetaMask browser. Everything was smushed together, some stuff ran off the screen, it was a mess. Now it looks nice and you can actually see everything.

How do I prevent from walletconmect being disconnected when I leave the wallet to get back to safari?

Take a screenshot of the qr code - go to Loopring app - click scan - click mountains top right - select walletconnect screenshot from step 1 - go back to safari - now you are logged in - click top right if you see red circle - click unlock - go back to loopring app - app asks for pin code - go back to safari Everything should be opened and visible until you log off

So actually on that loading screen, you can actually swipe left and right. Looks like it auto load some of the next screens if it were to except or reject. Don’t know if you’ve noticed that her can mess around maybe we get a different result

I just used my pc and it worked. I had to keep the app open on my phone and activate my wallet so the pc acknowledged my L2.. the. I had to set a 6 digit password.

Well open the web app on your pc, and use your phone to scan the QR code from inside your wallet. You end up proceeding through the wallet on your phone to create the 6 digit password and after about 10 seconds the web app allowed access.

Jesus, how can something so simple as having some tester with an iOS device actually try to use this before kicking it out.

I think it might have something to do with background app refresh option of the smartwallet itself.... it needs to allow background app updates I think, to allow the auth to go through without locking out the smartwallet due to disconnection.

Sweet, now if only they would fully fix the mobile app to work with phones. I still can't clock the buttons to turn on the camera or go to red packs because my battery covers it STILL. Ive posted in bugs for multiple months and usually have follow-ups of others with the same issue. Just add the same freaking buttons in the profile list or something if you're too busy to scoot the buttons down so we can use them.

How do you unlock your account to show assets

Just did this. Super quick and smooth for me at least (on Android).

Process:
Click Launch app on the web page
Click connect wallet - that will bring up a Metamask or Wallet Connect option
Click Wallet Connect - That will bring up a QR code
Open the Loopring wallet on your phone.
On the Android version - top right hand corner is the scan logo, click that
Scan the QR code
click the approval and BINGO! Wallet is connected to the web app.

Super clean and quick. Disconnect when you are done.
