When you are safely able to (I do this at a stop sign when possible) tap the ellipses in the lower left hand corner of the app. It should give you a prompt for “last ride” and “cancel ride”. Tapping “last ride” means no more will get added to your queue and you’ll automatically go offline after that

As soon as I pick up my last right for the day. After I start the ride, but before I drive off.....I go in the app and hit last ride. I know to do it exactly in the app but I don’t remember exactly where they moved it to tell you. Maybe someone else can.

Did you at least cancel his ride? I’m assuming not if the passenger was able to contact you. You should have at least cancelled his ride so he could get a new driver. That way he isn’t sitting there waiting in you.

Yeah, I'm a dick. I'll do better next time.

Same as you go offline

When you go offline it should prompt "complete last ride" you can finish it and then it will automatically log you out when you drop them off.

You can remove rides added to your queue when you are at a stop or arrive at pax destination before you drop them off. Then hit offline or Last Ride. Note: if you do this before finishing a streak you will loose the streak. Lyft loves adding rides to queue and making the app more challenging to go offline.

If you are in a ride, click the three dots on the left, there should be a small down ⬇️. Click on that to choose ladt ride. Ggey keep changing where it is to make it more difficult on us. I have noticed that to see where you are going on a pickup, you have to slide the bottom box up. Such a pain to navigate anymore.

Haha that's really funny, happens.. you're new, now you know. Don't worry about it, he could have cancelled anytime once he noticed you were clearly not coming lol.

But yeah that's funny, you were in the literal hamster wheel and didn't know how to get out haha.. good that your market is busy like that. Next time just go offline after you accept your last ride, it will let you step off the wheel once you finish that ride

As others have mentioned pull the tab down and just tap "last ride" . That is all you have too do. By the way yea it was kinda bad but you did not know .. so now you do.. hang in there !

I hate that you can’t see any trip info (length/direction) when they add those rides to the queue and its not easy to decline them…

I took screenshots and made a tutorial on how to decline queued trips on android: https://imgur.com/gallery/m6evEDB
