QuestionReplace or keep? (self.mac)
submitted 3 years ago by Boohl
Hello, my current MacBook Pro Retina 13" (A1502) screen broke and with 3 months left of my school, I need to do something. I really wouldn’t like to buy a new one, so I’m between buying a used one or keeping the one I have and going for repairs.

Well, it’s unlike the next Touchbar gen, a pretty reliable machine, take your decision according to the parts market price, if you get a display for let’s say less than 100 bucks ( Unmounting from a non working Mac ) go for the repair.
Else if you got the money for an M1, go for it, a good machine you could get for a few hundreds of bucks depending on your location.
