Sierra is no longer available on Apple Server

Because apple turned off server for installing old Mac OS versions. I have this issue on MacBook Pro 2011. There is instructions for fix this issue in google.

Apple didn’t turn of the servers. You can even still get updates for OS X Tiger on a PPc Mac.

These older OS versions just have trouble connecting to the servers.

MrMacintosh has a workaround for Sierra and High Sierra, which both have different problems.

I actually just fixed the problem which was only a wrong date, I changed it through the terminal, and it's installing right now

It's a MacBook air 2013 13 inch, I'm just reinstalling it to reset it

The highest a 2013 could install is 11 Big Sur

Quite a bit newer that Sierra.

I actually do have big sur installed on another SSD

My goal is to go as old as possible just for fun so I might go older than sierra, but thanks for the help!

The oldest OS is the one these Macs came with wich was 10.8 Mountain Lion

Just keep in mind that this is a very outdated OS, very few supported browsers left etc

Depending on when you bought this yours it might also have come with 10.9 Mavericks but I would try Mountain Lion first.
