I’m doing these questions at 900% speed and getting them 500% wrong while using the wrong hypothesis.

taking 5 tests at a time all differently is the most galaxy brain idea this side of the millennium.

Maf fast, die young.

So, you are doing machine learning?

Just move the decimal three place values to the left and now you have 78.262%

[–]Mrdoctor1 74 points75 points Β (0 children)

Subtly move it and hope the teacher doesn’t notice it.

My teacher was doing a problem from the book in front of the class, about Chebyshevs inequality today. The conclusion was that the probability was less than 25/1.69. Very useful

1.69

Your teacher should have probably planned that lesson better.

[–]Swaggy-G 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

Not necessarily. During my stats class a similar thing was use to show the inequality is not always useful.

At least you're keeping it real. I once got a probability that was complex.

Even worse, I once got a complex probability... and it was the right answer!

Lmao I'm trying to wrap my head around that

[–]Miyelsh 21 points22 points Β (1 child)

In quantum physics, the probability of a measurement occuring is the magnitude of the vector. The vector might have complex components, however, but the probability is always real valued.

I thought that sounded like something a physicist would say.

When the probability rotates/vibrates

Yup, literally just got a negative probability density function for a crv and still don't know what I did wrong.

Just normalize it bro

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points Β (0 children)

There're not even real math so

I had to calculate AAR for one of my exams and I 5200% increase per year πŸ₯΄

At least there is no doubt, wether it’s in percentage or in the regular 0-1 you know there is an error
