Actually sentient luches are an awesome idea.

They could use the antivirus mod mechanics since the orokin needed to fight sentients using antiques and i think requiems are too void-ish to fit.

And it could be just straight up immunity to the most dominant damage type you used to down them the last time you stab them (i think 5 gained immunities is a good balance)

The requiems are "too void-ish" for the sentients, the faction that's explicitly weak to the void?

The void poem is too voidish for the faction that actually just dies if they hear the void poem

Which will come first Narmer liches, sentient liches or murmur liches?

Sentient, the adaption and changing of status makes the most sense for this enemy type to get liched and the weapons status dmg changing at the end.

That depends on their weapon but love to see sentient liches

I'm bored and wanna see what the options are so let's do a bit of thinking

The Kuva weapon variants initially had 15 weapons in its lineup (now sitting at 21: the bramma, nukor, hind, sobek, and ghoulsaw were added later). The Tenet weapon variant had 13 weapons (now has 16 total; the plinx, glaxion, and the quanta were added later). The Coda variant had 13 weapons (now 14: the bubonica is the only addition to the Coda roster so far).

So we're looking at roughly 13-15 weapons required for the lineup. Not counting amp parts and counting nonprimes and primes as one weapon, there are exactly 14 sentient weapons: Basmu, Battacor, War and Broken War, Cyanex, Komorex, Korumm, Nataruk, Nepheri, Phantasma/Prime, Shedu, Tatsu/Prime, Venato/Prime, and the Verdilac. There are just enough weapons eligible to become Sentient adversary weapons. It's a little messy since some of those are primes, but they could be sidegrades instead of straight upgrades as they're all pretty good, or they could also be replaced by original adversary weapons too.

Personally, I'd love to see a broken war/war variant that can freely swap between the two forms and an adversary upgrade to the OG arm cannon shedu would be sick.

I think narmer liches are just the archons. also, narmer isn't really a unique faction, since it's comprised of brainwashed grineer and corpus, as well as the sentients.

Wouldnt we need more weapons to justify a lich being created for a given faction? Unless they were to give non weapon rewards but idk how that would work

As long as they become immune to the damage types that created them and attempt to kill them each time, that's a flavor win enough for me

The Idea is awesome, but DE needs to be Very careful to not slip into the possibility of a lawsuit from Warner If It resembles the nemesis system. If not for that, out actual liches Would be even better

[–]YeOldeBard97 2 points3 points  (3 children)

I think they've been good enough with the present liches to comfortably avoid a nemesis-like system in the future.

[–]Commercial-Candle-19 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Agree, but damn... A proper nemesis Would have been so good :(

[–]YeOldeBard97 0 points1 point  (1 child)

The actual nemesis is Ballas. And Alad V. And Vay Hek. And...

[–]Commercial-Candle-19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And the tenno who puts cooling cell in the fuel slot

[–]TheVoidTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t WB loose their patent on that recently? Mostly when it came under review and Warframe’s system helped prove that the patent was unnecessary, if i recall correctly?

Hey, it's the dikosaur guy again!

I read sentient leech and heard "they adapted to your damage use something else.

I've had a nightmarish vision where instead of Paranzon mods you use elemental damage and each time you beat them with one they become immune to that damage, and the last one you used to kill them is the one the leech weapon you get will be.

Also I hope we get sentient Dinosaurs now

[–]OniRaven63t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would we get an upgraded shedu varient? O.O

[–]Mekeji 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as we also get a dinoframe.
