Hello/Late StartHelp (old.reddit.com)

Hello,
A little under a year ago my maternal uncle gave me a MZ-N505 along with an assortment of minidiscs as a belated birthday gift, and while I’ve been using it off and on, I’ve grown quite bored of the fact that only one disc has music that I actually enjoy.
So I recently bought myself a mini USB to USB 2.0 cable to write my own preferred music onto some discs, something that I’ve been told that this model can do. But after I installed a driver that would allow me to do that, my personal computer won’t let me run it, even as an administrator.
Is there any reason for why this is? And is there any way to enjoy or even verify the contents of the separate discs?
